Basketball Recap: Reagan's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Reagan extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Jayden McCrae. The Reagan Raiders came out on top against the Davie War Eagles by a score of 59-48 on Tuesday thanks in part to McCrae, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 11 rebounds. The contest was his fifth in a row with at least ten points.

Cameron Simmons was another key player, putting up 11 points. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

When it comes to explaining why Davie lost, don't look at Elliott Erlandsson. Despite the final result, he went 6 of 8 on his way to 15 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon King, who posted seven points and three steals.

Reagan's win bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Davie, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Reagan will take on West Forsyth at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Reagan is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 61.8 points per game this season. As for Davie, they will face off against Mount Tabor at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Davie also hasn't been messing around on offense: they've averaged 57.3 points per game.
