Basketball Recap: Autaugaville Takes a Loss

Autaugaville was the 74-15 winner over Billingsley when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Autaugaville Eagles opened the new year with a less-than-successful 57-50 loss to the Billingsley Bears.

Autaugaville has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season. As for Billingsley, their win ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Autaugaville will face off against Autauga Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Billingsley, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Holy Spirit Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
