Volleyball Recap: Corinth Takes a Loss

Corinth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Ingomar Falcons. If the Warriors were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Falcons when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-15, 25-13.

Ingomar was led to victory by Ella Hart Wilbanks and Lexi McLarty. Wilbanks had six aces and four assists, while McLarty had six kills. Those six aces gave Wilbanks a new career-high.

Corinth's loss dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Ingomar, their victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-4-1.

Corinth has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Tishomingo County on the 16th. As for Ingomar, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Tupelo Christian Prep on the 16th.
