Basketball Recap: Hagerty Snaps Six-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Hagerty had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They walked away with a 64-57 victory over the Spruce Creek Hawks. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Huskies also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2022.

Hagerty was led to victory by Asa Kohn and Mason Morrow. Kohn went 10 of 15 en route to 23 points along with eight assists and six boards, while Morrow went 6 for 7 from beyond the arc on his way to 21 points and seven rebounds. The game was Kohn's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Jack Smith was another key player, putting up four points and five boards.

Hagerty's win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-10. As for Spruce Creek, they moved to 14-7 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hagerty will challenge Ocoee at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Spruce Creek, they will face off against Timber Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Spruce Creek's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five contests.
