Soccer Recap: Westland vs. Hayes
After flying high against Franklin Heights last Tuesday, Westland came back down to earth. The Westland Cougars fell just short of the Hayes Pacers by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. The game was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Cougars couldn't quite close it out.
Westland's loss dropped their record down to 4-6-3. As for Hayes, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-2-3.
Westland will challenge Centennial at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Hayes, their road trip will continue as they head out to face Whetstone at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
