On Monday Jefferson West's undefeated season almost came to an end. They skirted past the Hiawatha Red Hawks 6-4. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-4 on Monday.

Cooper Knox was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-3. Max Tuck also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Jefferson West's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Hiawatha, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3-1.
