Baseball Recap: Lesterville Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Lesterville's offense. They came up short against the East Carter Redbirds on Friday, falling 12-0. The Bearcats haven't had much luck with the Redbirds recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Lesterville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for East Carter, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Lesterville Bearcats take on Kingston Cougars at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for East Carter, they will head out to take on South Iron at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
