Poyen is 8-2 against Ouachita since February of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Poyen Indians will look to defend their home court against the Ouachita Warriors at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Poyen's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six games.

Last Friday, everything came up roses for Poyen against Fordyce as the squad secured a 59-13 victory. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matches by 26 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Ouachita came up short against Parkers Chapel on Friday and fell 35-24.

Poyen's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-2. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.7 points per game. As for Ouachita, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-10.

Poyen didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Ouachita when the teams last played back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 55-49 victory. Will Poyen repeat their success, or does Ouachita have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
