Softball Recap: Whitney Young Dolphins vs. Oswego East Wolves
Whitney Young was not able to break out of their rough patch on Sunday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 10-5 to the Oswego East Wolves.
Liani Delgado was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: she struck out seven batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and five unearned) runs off eight hits (and not a single walk).
On the hitting side, Whitney Young saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Natalie Nieves, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.
