Football Recap: Hackleburg Panthers vs. Lynn Bears

Hackleburg extended their postseason success on Friday against Lynn. They walked away with a 32-19 win over the Lynn Bears. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played back in August.

Jaquan Reeder was his usual excellent self, rushing for 90 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries, while also catching a touchdown. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 64 yards.

Hackleburg didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Cameron Ingram and Maddox Vickery.

The victory (which was Hackleburg's third in a row) raised their record to 12-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 40.7 points per game. As for Lynn, the loss snapped their winning streak at ten games and leaves them with a 11-2 record.

Hackleburg will take on Wadley on Friday. Both have allowed few points on average, (Wadley: 14.9, Hackleburg: 9.4) so any points scored will be well earned. Lynn does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
