Softball Game Preview: Alexander Trojans vs. Batavia Blue Devils

The Alexander Trojans will head out on the road to square off against the Batavia Blue Devils at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Alexander is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.

Pembroke hit Alexander with a six-run seventh inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Trojans came up short against the Dragons, falling 12-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Trojans have suffered since April 25th.

Alexander saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lillian Szymkowiak, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Batavia posted their closest win since April 23, 2024 on Monday. They skirted past Brockport 3-1.

Batavia's victory bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Alexander, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-6.
