Soccer Recap: North Sanpete Comes Up Short

North Sanpete and Richfield squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but North Sanpete had to settle for second. They fell 2-0 to the Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against Richfield this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-1 loss back in August.

North Sanpete dropped their record down to 4-11 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Richfield, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

North Sanpete does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Richfield, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Manti on the 18th.
