Basketball Recap: Friday's Victory Is Glencoe's Fourth in Last Five Outings

It was a proper cat-fight when Glencoe faced off against Woodland on Friday. The Glencoe Panthers came out on top against the Woodland Cougars by a score of 33-25. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cougars, too.

Glencoe has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-10 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.8 points over those games. As for Woodland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-12.

Glencoe didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 54-33 defeat against Garber on the 15th. Woodland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
