A well-balanced attack led Willapa Valley over Ocosta in every quarter on their way to victory on Tuesday. The Willapa Valley Vikings were the clear victor by a 50-29 margin over the Ocosta Wildcats. The Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 21 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Willapa Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than Nathan Fluke, who went 9 for 13 en route to 19 points and eight rebounds. Fluke has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Blane King, who went 7 of 16 on his way to 14 points and four steals.

Ocosta lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Sonny Beard, who posted seven points and 11 boards. Dalton Welch was another key player, putting up four points along with 12 rebounds and three steals.

Willapa Valley's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29.2 points. As for Ocosta, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-4.

Willapa Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 56-52 victory against Columbia Adventist Academy on the 16th. Ocosta has also already played their next contest, a 79-49 win against North Beach on the 16th.
