Baseball Recap: Hamilton Comes Up Short

Hamilton lost to Venice on Wednesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Yankees lost 8-1 to the Gondoliers. The Yankees have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hamilton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ethan Juarez, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Hamilton's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Venice, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-11 record this season.

Hamilton has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Santee on the 12th. As for Venice, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-2 victory against San Fernando on the 2nd.
