Washington turns things around after tough road loss

There's no place like home for the Washington Tigers, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Monday. They took down Canton Central Catholic 63-47 on Wednesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Washington also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2022.
Washington got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Makiya Edwards out in front who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 12 rebounds. La Nia Moore was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 13 rebounds.
The win got Washington back to even at 2-2. As for Canton Central Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
Washington will head out on the road to face off against Field at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Canton Central Catholic, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Aquinas at 1:30 p.m.
