Softball Recap: Robertsdale's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Robertsdale waltzed into their game on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Citronelle Wildcats by a score of 13-9. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 22-5 back in February.

Braylin Blocker was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. That's the most hits she has posted over her last seven matchups. Kinsley Stevens was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.

Robertsdale hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most three strikeouts in three consecutive contests.

Robertsdale's record now sits at 12-9. As for Citronelle, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-11.

Coming up, Robertsdale is taking a road trip to take on Gulf Shores at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Citronelle, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Vigor at 4:30 p.m.
