Soccer Game Preview: Bethany vs. Cache

The Bethany Bronchos will head out to take on the Cache Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Bethany will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Bethany is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They blew past Ardmore 10-1 on Tuesday. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 4-1.

Meanwhile, Cache unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They came up short against Mount St. Mary, falling 3-0. Considering the last time Cache couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

Bethany pushed their record up to 7-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those four contests. As for Cache, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-4.

Bethany skirted past Cache 3-2 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Will the Bronchos repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
