Volleyball Recap: Chattahoochee County Snags Fourth Victory in Last Five Games

It was a proper cat-fight when Chattahoochee County took on Calhoun County on Thursday. The Panthers walked away with a 2-0 win over the Cougars. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Chattahoochee County easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-8.

Chattahoochee County has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-8 record this season. As for Calhoun County, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.

Coincidentally, Chattahoochee County and Calhoun County will both be playing Taylor County the next time they take the court. The Cougars will host the Vikings at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Panthers will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
