Glendale won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Tuesday. They wound up on the wrong side of a tough 12-4 walloping at the hands of the Moshannon Valley Black Knights/Damsels. Glendale was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Moshannon Valley apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2023.
Glendale saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Troy Misiura, who went 2-for-4 with a home run, a stolen base, and a double. Misiura has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive pitching appearances.
Even though they lost, Glendale didn't let batters stay on the plate for long and finished the game with 11 strikeouts. That's the most strikeouts they've managed all season.
