Softball Recap: Northeast Early College Comes Up Short

Northeast Early College was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 22-0 to the Lago Vista Vikings. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 21-0 back in March.

Northeast Early College's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Lago Vista, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season.

Northeast Early College is taking a road trip to face off against Austin Achieve at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Raiders are facing the Polar Bears at the right time seeing as the Polar Bears are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Lago Vista, they will host Eastside Early College at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
