Basketball Recap: Dallas Comes Up Short

Dallas lost against Crescent Valley back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Dallas Dragons lost 61-36 to the Crescent Valley Raiders. While losing is never fun, the Dragons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 237th, while the Raiders are ranked 28th).

Dallas' defeat dropped their record down to 1-19. As for Crescent Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dallas will venture away from home to face off against South Albany at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Crescent Valley, they will head out to square off against Silverton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.
