Volleyball Game Preview: Riverside Chargers vs. Twin Loup Wolves

The Riverside Chargers are taking a road trip to take on the Twin Loup Wolves on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Riverside has four straight victories, Twin Loup has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Monday, Riverside beat Newman Grove/St. Edward 2-0.

Riverside easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-7.

Meanwhile, Twin Loup came up short against Elm Creek on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

While Twin Loup was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Elm Creek's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-18, 25-20.

Twin Loup's defeat dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Riverside, their win bumped their record up to 17-3.

Riverside beat Twin Loup 2-0 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Do the Chargers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wolves turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
