Softball Recap: Tillamook Cheesemakers vs. Cottage Grove Lions
After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last four matchups, Tillamook finally came back down to earth on Saturday. They came up short against the Cottage Grove Lions, falling 11-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-11 on Saturday.
Tillamook saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hannah Obrist, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
Tillamook's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Cottage Grove, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season.
