Green Level won the last time they faced Hillside and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Gators never let the Hornets get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Green Level's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 37th, while Hillside are ranked 185th).

Tyler Pidgeon and Derek Salas scored both of Green Level's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Green Level's win bumped their record up to 3-1-1. As for Hillside, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.

Looking ahead, Green Level will be playing at home against Broughton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hillside, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 4-0 victory against Durham School of the Arts on the 29th.
