Basketball Recap: Rank Disadvantage No Problem for Henry County

Henry County won the last time they faced Union City and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Henry County Patriots sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 42-40 victory over the Union City Golden Tornadoes. The win was all the more spectacular given the Patriots' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 204th, while the Golden Tornadoes are ranked 79th).

Henry County's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Union City, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-7.

Henry County will challenge Kenwood at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Union City, they will face off against South Fulton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Union City is facing South Fulton at the right time seeing as South Fulton is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
