Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tuscarawas Valley). Everything went their way against the Hiland Hawks on Wednesday as they made off with a 21-2 win. The victory was just business as usual for the Trojans, who after 18 games remain undefeated this season.
Tuscarawas Valley got a great performance from Ashlee Binsley as she tossed five innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Arieana Wade, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Elliott Wallick, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, two doubles, and two RBI.
Tuscarawas Valley's win was their tenth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-0.
