Volleyball Recap: Prairie Heights Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Prairie Heights can now relate to. They came up short against the Lakeland Lakers on Saturday, falling 3-0. The Panthers have struggled against the Lakers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Prairie Heights' offense was headlined by Avery Certain and Kinley Yoder, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Bailey DeLancey and her 12 assists. Natalie Booth and Chloe Kintz kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Prairie Heights' loss dropped their record down to 8-22. As for Lakeland, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-13 record this season.

Prairie Heights does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lakeland, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Westview on the 18th.
