Baseball Game Preview: North Buncombe Black Hawks vs. A.C. Reynolds Rockets

The North Buncombe Black Hawks are taking a road trip to challenge the A.C. Reynolds Rockets at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. North Buncombe has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with three straight defeats, while A.C. Reynolds will come in with three straight victories.

On Friday, North Buncombe came up short against Asheville and fell 9-4.

North Buncombe saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grey Reedy, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, A.C. Reynolds had just enough and edged out Apex Friendship 6-4 on Friday.

The win got A.C. Reynolds back to even at 6-6. As for North Buncombe, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5.

North Buncombe couldn't quite finish off A.C. Reynolds in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 and fell 5-3. Can the Black Hawks avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
