Basketball Game Preview: Fike Golden Demons vs. East Wake Warriors

Fike is 2-8 against East Wake since December of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Golden Demons will be playing at home against the Warriors at 7:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Fike took a loss when they played away from home last Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They came out on top against J.H. Rose by a score of 68-60.

Meanwhile, East Wake scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 72-61 to Northern Nash. The Warriors have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

East Wake's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Fike, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Fike beat East Wake 68-58 when the teams last played back in February. Do the Golden Demons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
