Basketball Recap: Creekside Christian Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Konos Academy on Tuesday, Creekside Christian Academy came back down to earth. The Cougars fell 69-63 to Arlington Christian on Friday. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Arlington Christian apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.

Loss or not, Creekside Christian Academy got some senior leadership from Landon Logan and Kenneth West. Logan posted 15 points, while West earned 14 points. Logan continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Maddox, who had nine points.

Creekside Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Arlington Christian, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Creekside Christian Academy will venture away from home to challenge Skipstone Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Arlington Christian, they will head out to take on Cristo Rey Atlanta at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
