Soccer Game Preview: Garfield vs. Legacy

The Garfield Bulldogs will challenge the Legacy Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Monday just wasn't the day for Garfield's offense. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of South Gate on Monday.

Meanwhile, Legacy came into Monday's matchup having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. Neither they nor Roosevelt could gain the upper hand on Monday so the two teams had to settle for a 3-3 draw. While a more conclusive result would've been nice, the Tigers got plenty of practice considering the match was the highest-scoring draw the team's played all season.

Garfield's loss dropped their record down to 6-5-2. Legacy's draw gives them a new season record of 8-8-5.

Garfield came out on top in a nail-biter against Legacy in their previous matchup back in January, sneaking past 2-1. Will Garfield repeat their success, or does Legacy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
