Baseball Recap: Tipton-Rosemark Academy Takes a Loss

Tipton-Rosemark Academy fell victim to Dyer County and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Dyer County Choctaws, falling 11-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rebels of the 5-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Tipton-Rosemark Academy got a good showing from Knox Holmes, who tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits.

This is the second loss in a row for Tipton-Rosemark Academy and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

When Tipton-Rosemark Academy and Dyer County next hit the field, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Tipton-Rosemark Academy will challenge Senatobia and their five-game winning streak at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Dyer County will try to stop Collierville's four-game winning streak when they meet at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
