Softball Recap: Cooper Comes Up Short

Cooper was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Quitman, falling 13-1.

Cooper saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alyssa McCarty, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI. Adysen Ross also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.

Cooper's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Quitman, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.

Cooper wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 10-5 loss against Commerce on the 1st. As for Quitman, they will welcome Mineola at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
