Meanwhile, Montebello was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were dealt a 71-22 loss at the hands of Mark Keppel. The Oilers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-11.

The victory got Alhambra back to even at 9-9. As for Montebello, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-15.
