Baseball Recap: Buena Park Takes a Loss

Buena Park came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 8-2 to the Wiseburn- Da Vinci Wolves. The Coyotes were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolves apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Isaac Rojas was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Buena Park has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for Wiseburn- Da Vinci, their win bumped their record up to 12-6.

Coming up, Buena Park will square off against Katella at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Knights' pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so the Coyotes' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Wiseburn- Da Vinci, they will face off against Rolling Hills Prep at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Huskies will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Wolves surely won't give up without a fight.
