Softball Recap: Plum Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Plum walked away with it. They skirted past the Thomas Jefferson Jaguars 15-14. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Mustangs have posted since April 6th.

The victory (which was Plum's third in a row) raised their record to 21-5. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for Thomas Jefferson, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-5-1.

Coming up, Plum will take on Penn-Trafford on Thursday. The Warriors' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Mustangs' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Thomas Jefferson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
