Othello is 7-2 against Quincy since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Jackrabbits have suffered since May 11, 2024.

Quincy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Othello, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 9-3.

Quincy's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Othello hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .374. It's a different story for Quincy, though, as they've only averaged .201. Will they be able to contain Othello's hitters?

Everything went Othello's way against Quincy when the teams last played on Tuesday, as Othello made off with a 6-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Huskies since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
