Basketball Game Preview: North Gwinnett Bulldogs vs. Berkmar Patriots

The North Gwinnett Bulldogs will head out on the road to face off against the Berkmar Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. North Gwinnett is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

Last Tuesday, North Gwinnett didn't have quite enough to beat Meadowcreek and fell 49-46. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 251st, while the Mustangs are ranked 48th).

Meanwhile, Berkmar was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 64-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of Brookwood.

North Gwinnett's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Berkmar, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-10.

North Gwinnett came up short against Berkmar in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, falling 46-36. Can North Gwinnett avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
