Softball Recap: Addison Takes a Loss

Addison fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Cherokee on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Cherokee Indians by a score of 9-7. The defeat continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Indians: they've now lost six in a row.

Addison now has a losing record of 3-4-1. As for Cherokee, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Addison will host Cold Springs at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cherokee, they will be playing at home against Tharptown at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
