Volleyball Game Preview: Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) Stallions vs. International Studies

The Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) Stallions will face off against International Studies at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) has seven straight wins, International Studies has 15 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Tuesday, Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) got the win against Pinecrest Prep by a conclusive 3-0.

While Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 28-26, 25-17, 25-19.

Meanwhile, International Studies came up short against Archimedean on Monday, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-16, 25-14.

International Studies' defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Somerset Academy (Silver Palms), their victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0.

Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) took their win against International Studies when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Stallions since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
