Basketball Recap: Richland Comes Up Short

After flying high against Westwood Baptist Academy on Thursday, Richland came back down to earth. The Richland Rebels fell 58-47 to the Bell City Cubs on Friday. The Rebels were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cubs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Richland's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Bell City, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Richland will face off against Gideon at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Richland is facing Gideon at the right time seeing as Gideon is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Bell City has already played their next matchup, a 76-59 defeat against Advance on the 10th.
