The Grantsville Cowboys are taking a road trip to square off against the Ridgeline Riverhawks at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Grantsville is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.5 runs per game this season.

On Thursday, Grantsville didn't have quite enough to beat Morgan and fell 5-4. The Cowboys have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cooper Castagno was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one triple.

Meanwhile, Ridgeline waltzed into their contest on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They never let the Bobcats get on the board and left with a 7-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Riverhawks, who have now won 14 games by six runs or more so far this season.

The result came thanks to Sam Swan's shutout, as he gave up just two hits and racked up ten Ks. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Ripken Jensen, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Ridgeline's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-4. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Grantsville, their loss dropped their record down to 10-9.
