Recap: Saint Stephen's Episcopal Falcons vs. Northside Christian Mustangs
The Saint Stephen's Episcopal Falcons lost against the Northside Christian Mustangs back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Saint Stephen's Episcopal had to suffer through a rough 60-8 loss at the hands of Northside Christian. Saint Stephen's Episcopal has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Northside Christian was led to victory by Sydney White and Rilee Knight. White dropped a double-double on 10 points and 10 steals, while Knight scored 16 points along with 7 steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Knight has scored at least 25% of Northside Christian's points. Another player making a difference was Lilyana Scull, who scored 6 points along with 6 steals.
Saint Stephen's Episcopal's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Northside Christian, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Saint Stephen's Episcopal will take on Manatee at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Northside Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against St. Petersburg Catholic at 6:00 p.m.
