Football Recap: Riverdale Baptist Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Riverdale Baptist kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They were beaten by the McDonogh Eagles 48-6. The Crusaders were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-0.

McDonogh had a senior duo take command as Mason Graham rushed for 57 yards and two scores and Braeden Palazzo rushed for 28 yards and one TD.

Riverdale Baptist will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Long Island Lutheran on September 27. As for McDonogh, they will square off against St. Anthony's at 12:00 p.m. on Friday.
