Volleyball Recap: Sterling Find Success

Sterling had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Forge Christian Fury on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Despite the loss, Forge Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Bella Tiner had 14 digs and two assists. Those 14 digs set a new season-high mark for Tiner.

Sterling's victory bumped their record up to 22-7. As for Forge Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 23-5.

Sterling wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against The Classical Academy on the 15th. Forge Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
