Basketball Recap: St. Thomas More Academy Comes Up Short

St. Thomas More Academy came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 64-40 to the New Life Camp Storm. The Chancellors haven't had much luck with the Storm recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Despite the loss, St. Thomas More Academy still got an impressive performance from Adella Dehring, who posted 17 points along with eight boards and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of LIlian Marquardt, who scored six points and four steals.

St. Thomas More Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for New Life Camp, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, St. Thomas More Academy will square off against Cary Academy at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Chancellors' defense better be ready for this one: the Chargers have averaged an impressive 56.8 points per game this season. As for New Life Camp, they will head out on the road to take on Cary Christian at 5:45 p.m. on Monday.
