Basketball Recap: Cody Falls Short Against Ranked Powell

On Saturday, Cody faced Powell in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Cody Broncs fell just short of the Powell Panthers by a score of 63-60. The defeat continues a trend for the Broncs in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now lost six in a row.

Cody's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Powell, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season.

While Cody had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
