Basketball Recap: Winner Beats Mobridge-Pollock for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Winner won the last time they faced Mobridge-Pollock and things went their way on Friday too. The Winner Warriors came out on top against the Mobridge-Pollock Tigers by a score of 54-43. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Warriors' disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 66th, while the Tigers are ranked 11th).

The win was the fourth in a row for Winner, bringing their record for this year to 11-9. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.5 points over those games. As for Mobridge-Pollock, their loss ended an eight-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-3.
