Softball Recap: Ashbrook Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Ashbrook's offense. They lost 15-0 to the Crest Chargers on Friday. That's two games in a row now that the Greenwave have lost by exactly 15 runs.

Ashbrook's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Crest, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ashbrook will head out to challenge Garinger at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Garinger has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 19.5 runs per game on average), something Ashbrook will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Crest, they will venture away from home to square off against Stuart W. Cramer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
